I am currently arranging a discussion with Emerge Recycling (http://www.emergemanchester.co.uk/) @EMERGERecycling, @RestartProject, and others on Twitter to set up some makers and fixers workshops or cafes in the Greater Manchester area.
There will be a need for 'experts' in electronic gadgets, electrical, mechanical, and other making and fixing stuff, who would be interested in being involved.
If any members (granted there are not many of us here yet, but there will be) are interested in helping us and being involved then please let me know and I can keep you in the loop of the discussion and hopefully have your full involvement.
