On Saturday October 12th, 2013 Rugby Linux Users Group will hold its annual Software Freedom Day event to promote the benefits of software freedom to the local community.
Running from 12pm - 4pm at the Lawrence Sheriff School (Clifton Road, Rugby, CV21 3AG) the event will feature a variety of hands-on workshops, displays and presentations.
The organizers hope to hold several workshops including hardware hacking with the Arduino and Raspberry Pi, Scratch programming, information on setting up a Code Club in your school.
As in previous years, a wide variety of software will be available to available to try out, and visitors can take away free CDs of free and open source software for Windows and Linux.
